Some people have asked why I bought two leather corner sofas for my family. The first reason is one of practicality. For a small family, with just a few seating options, the idea of having two of these seemed like a great one. Also, you should have seen the look on the salesperson’s face when I offered to buy two of these. His response was hilarious, “Are you sure, you’re sure you’re sure?!” he said. I had to laugh and say yes. But, you don’t buy any furniture just to please the salesperson – it just feels good, though. My idea was to give my family the option of a couple of good places to congregate. Families today just don’t seem to share that “togetherness” anymore like my parents and I did.

The corner couch is a great place to have during the holidays, too. It gives the family a place to gather and look at the holiday decorations – the Christmas tree and other Christmas decorations in our case. Plus, having one in the other room gives the family another place to gather when they tire of the holiday spirit. Or, it gives them a nice place to be when they are alone and they want some comfort. Of course I chose the most comfortable seating available for the family.

Such comfortable seating does have a price. But, when you are buying two of basically the same objects, you can split your price. In this instance, I was able to buy two of them at two different prices. Each set did match the décor of their own interiors. And, the salesperson kindly gave us a better price with the combined sale. That’s another advantage of buying two of the corner couches at the same time.

We did think of putting both of them in the same room – and that may work out great for some families and some homes. But in our case, we thought the look would be “too crowded”. Still – it might be a great idea for some. It is awesome if one has the space and chooses to go for that “round table” look. Separating the pieces into their own rooms still maintains the contemporary integrity of each design. It is much more comfortable and efficient to separate the two sets. The modern, efficient design and style of both pieces was just one more reason for my buying two leather corner sofas.
