Water Conservation: Choose Now or Regret it Later
For human civilization to survive, water in indispenseble. It is dramatic but still true that 75% of the earth is covered with water bodies, yet only 1% of that is available for human consumption. Water conservation is no longer just a good thing to do morally or an issue known to be taken care of only by NGO’s and related institutions. Saving and conserving water is not an option anymore but a universal necessity to make sure that human population continues to survive, peacefully.
The importance of water is immense and it is essentially synonymous with life, you could say. It is needed for consumption, different household chores, used in industries heavily and basically everywhere you can imagine, in some way or else. Everybody and everyone should participate in saving and conserving water and the mission starts at home itself where we can close the tap while brushing teeth and opening at intervals, close the shower while shampooing, use appropriate amount only in washing, try and close the leakage at the earliest, never let the tap flow extensively without purpose and most of all, spread the massage around and create awareness to whatever scale you can.
It is the effort of everyone which collectively will transform in to action to stop this global threat from getting more intensified. Water pollution can be saved by practicing strict norms and by keeping the industrial waste limited and away from fresh water sources as much as possible. It is predicted by U.N. that in coming years the need of water would be 17% more than what will be available then and these are not only reports. It will come true if you and me don’t start today in making our singular efforts because that counts. Voice your opinion wherever and whenever needed as our care for children and future generations should not be limited to what they require and do today but also what they will need and how comfortably they will live in future as well. And, you can guess what would be consequences without water.
