Theta Meditation With Isochronic Tones Brainwave Entrainment

Deep meditation is a powerful state of mind. It allows us to perceive ourselves and the world with great clarity and then make the best choices possible for our lives. It is a rejuvenating state to be in that benefits body, mind and spirit. Yet, our societies do not encourage us to practice meditation at all. Instead, it seems the world is bound to a frenetic pace of production that leaves the planet and much of its living inhabitants in conditions of stress and depletion. Deep meditation is an effective way to disengage from the chaos of modern life but the thing is, it’s not so easy!

There is a great tool, however, that can help those interested in practicing meditation: brainwaves entrainment sound recordings. These recordings (usually available in the form of MP3 files or audio CDs) contain repetitive sound tones of specific frequencies that alter brainwave patterns as they are listened to for ten to thirty minutes.

The process of entraining the mind and altering brainwaves has been extensively researched and used during the past few decades. The idea is that whenever we are going through an experience, the brain produces certain types of brainwaves. Therefore, these brainwaves will vary accordingly if we are running, excited, afraid, busily working, dreaming, taking a nap, etc. The same holds true with meditation.

Scientific studies have demonstrated that while in states of deep meditation, the brainwaves of the practitioners are in the theta range of frequencies – that is, between 4 and 8 Hz. This is a deep and slow set of frequencies that also occur during certain types of dreaming activity. By having the brain generate these types of frequencies through audio entrainment, the listener effectively enters the meditative theta state of mind.

Use theta meditation brainwave entrainment recordings everyday to relieve stress, center yourself and get in a wonderful state of consciousness that is sure to benefit your life and those around you.
