Follow A Detox Plan Before You Diet
This is a simple detox diet based on rice. This diet should be followed for 7 days. After 7 days you must go off it, regardless how much weight you think you can lose. Keeping a detox diet for too long is very unhealthy.
This diet is very simple: the first 3 – 4 days you eat boiled rice with vegetables; onions, carrots, courgettes, dill and celery are the most indicated. The next three days, switch to a normal menu containing: vegetable soup, boiled rice, grilled vegetables (but avoid: tomatoes, eggplants, mushrooms and peppers), as a main course for lunch and dinner and fruits for snacks and breakfast. All week you have to consume 4 pints of water a day at room temperature. Trade juices, wine and coffee are prohibited.
After detoxification, eat normal food, for healthy people!
According to nutritionists, after a detox diet “you have to go to an ordinary diet for healthy people”. Thus, you can start to reintroduce meat in your daily menu. ”During the winter, we should help our body and we can eat foods with a higher energy density,” advises Prof. Mencinicopschi. ”You can eat fish 2 to 3 times a week and lean pork, 2 -3 times a week”.
If you want to shed weight fast, below you have an easy menu you can choose after you finished the body cleanse diet:
Breakfast: one cup of skimmed milk (200 ml), 1.4 oz bread.
Snack: some yogurt (4.4 oz), 9 oz of fruits, your choice: plums, pears, kiwi, and oranges.
Lunch: vegetable soup or rice with vegetables, tomato salad with olive oil and lemon juice, a fruit.
Snack: a cup of unsweetened tea, 7 oz of fruit.
Dinner: 4.5 oz of boiled or grilled fish or chicken with lemon, 7 oz of cooked vegetables, your choice: spinach, carrots, cauliflower, cabbage, 1 oz of bread.
Another detox diet that is very successful is the lemon detox diet. If you don’t like the rice diet you should give it a try.
The most important thing you must know is that a detox diet must be followed after you were cleared by a medic first.
