I’m pretty sure every woman loves to receive perfume as a gift and I’m also sure that men hate picking presents that their partner is going to enjoy receiving. That’s why perfume has become one of the most popular gift ideas for men who either prefer not to think about what to get their girlfriend or for those who have thought so much about it that their brains have started to melt.
The problem is, there are so many different brands of perfume on the market that once you have decided that this is what you are going to buy you realize that your present buying job is only just beginning. I suppose it helps to focus the mind when you decide on buying perfume but you still need to put in a little effort if you are to get something worthwhile.
Of course one method of choosing which to get is to have a peek at the perfumes she already uses and see which of them are almost finished. If she has used a full bottle of a particular brand in the past you can be sure she likes it and won’t grumble when presented with a top up.
Another method would be to pick something that is completely new to her. This can be dangerous as we men are known for our abilities to pick gifts but that is why we have perfume guides which promise to point us in the right direction. Getting help from someone who actually knows what they are talking about when it comes to scents makes a lot of sense.
