While the popular thing to do is learn the gender of your baby through the use of ultrasound, many parents choose to wait until the baby is born to find out whether it’s a boy or a girl. For these parents, creating the nursery means decorating a room in a gender neutral way. While that may mean plain to some folks, I assure you there are lots of great baby bedding choices that will allow you to have a neutrally decorated room that is anything but plain. In fact many of these bedding sets are some of the most colorful ones you will find. If you are unsure about where to start with your neutral nursery decor, you might want to consider some of these great neutral nursery crib bedding sets.
The first one is Baby Martex Creme Brulee. If you prefer soft and muted colors, this set will appeal to you. It offers a very calming beige, brown and white color scheme. What it lacks in color, it makes up for in texture. There are velvet, sherpa, and sweater knit fabrics along with stripes and checks all combined for a stunning set of bedding for the nursery. Other good choices muted color choices are Counting Sheep by Living Textiles and the retro modern looking Flashback by Glenna Jean.
If pastels is more what you were thinking of one of my favorites is Finley by Glenna Jean. Multi colored pastel stripe and polka dot fabrics are combined with print fabrics to create a beautiful bedding collection that would make any nursery shine. A couple of other really nice pastel sets are Snug as a Bug by Kidsline and Green Acres by Glenna Jean.
If you want color and lots of it, Alphabet Soup baby bedding by Cocalo would be my top choice. Vibrant orange, red, blue and greens in stripes, solids and prints highlight animals and alphabet letters and are what make this bedding set so popular. Play Date by Living Textiles and Crayon by Banana Fish are a couple of other really pretty and colorful sets.
A neutral decorating style does not mean boring or plain as you can tell. The baby bedding sets outlined here offer something for all tastes and color schemes from mild to wild.
