Ensure that the unit is separated, and bring it to the spot you plan to use it. Have the drainpipe already there waiting for you, and ensure that is higher than the concrete. There must be at least one to one and half inches of room that is around the pipe for the drain that needs to be assembled. If there isn’t, you may have to remove some concrete to allow you some room to move the pipe out.

Place some mortar around the slab of concrete and make a thick layer. Extend this mortar at least six inches all the way around the concrete. Then you will have to line the drain hole to the base of your shower unit, including the drain pipe that is above the concrete, and install the unit within its stall area. This unit should spread out, so it covers the concrete surface.

Finally, make sure the unit is secure and is connected to the wall suds that are at the rear of the shower with the screws that are pan head, and galvanized. When screwing the shower to the wall, use a cordless gun to help with this process, and place these screws in all corners of the unit.

Having, a unit installed outside is not as difficult as you may think as all you need to do is a few small tasks to get it going and installed. If you are not a D.Y.I person, you can always have someone come in, and attach it to the wall. When you do install the outdoor shower unit, you need to have it somewhere, where you can access the water storage facilities in your house to get the water flowing in your unit.

I got a Breville convection toaster oven, and it is so cool.  Not only does it make perfect toast, it also can cook a 12 inch pizza.  I use it all the time instead of my big oven and I think it will be wonderful when guests come at Thanksgiving and I need two ovens.  But my favorite feature of all is the plate warmer.  It fits two standard dinner plates on the top perfectly and so the plates are warm when the food goes to the table.

My kids also like it a lot, they are enjoying the convenience of making cheese toasties and heating up pizza that is never soggy.

The tea kettle is great too.  I know a lot of people make tea in the microwave, but I find it very soothing to make it in the traditional way with a tea kettle and pot.  The Alessi design by Michael Graves is absolutely iconic and is one of my favorite decorating pieces.  I am so happy that I have it, because it stays out on my stove top all the time and makes me smile whenever I look at it.

I love kitchen gadgets and am really happy with these two purchases.  They are beautiful and function exactly how they are supposed to.  In fact, I would say they are even better than advertised.   Who could ask for more than that?

Lucchese Boots for Women

My all-time favorite Lucchese women’s boots are the Lucchese N4551 model marketed under the 1883 by Lucchese brand. The 1883 line gets its name from the year the company was founded 127 years ago. The women’s N4551 boots are made from black buffalo leather and have an intricate floral design embroidered onto them. There are several flowers on the foot as well as the shaft and they are surrounded by a swirl of stems and leaves in many colors.

Another nice women’s boot from Lucchese is the GB9334. This is a tall brown boot made from calf skin. It measures approximately 16 inches high from the arch and has a 1 1/4″ heel. There is a slit that runs about two thirds of the way down the outside of the boot that fastens with three gold-colored buckles.

Lucchese Boots for Men

The men’s boots I like the best are the Harley-Davidson Lucchese alligator boots. These boots have a black calf skin shaft and a black alligator foot. There is an embroidered Harley-Davidson pattern on the shaft in white and gold thread. At the side of each boot in the pull strap there is a metal star in a circle that say Harley-Davidson Motorcycles on it.

The N8646 is a dark brown cowboy boot with an upper made from lizard and buffalo. It is heavily embroidered in a decorative pattern with tan and brown thread. There is piping down the sides below the pull straps. This a classy looking dress boot that is comfortable enough to wear all day.
