Asian Makeup Tips to Emphasize Natural Beauty
The exotic look of the Asian face has stunning natural beauty. Enhance the features with a few simple guidelines when choosing and applying makeup.
Asian makeup should have a slight yellow tone to them. This will allow the face to look natural. Choose a tinted moisturizer that closely matches the skin tone and a blush with peachy undertone.
Traditionally Asian eyes have been lined with a black eye pencil. Step away from this harsh look by applying Asian makeup in softer shades. Taupe’s and chocolate browns create a fantastic day look. Line the eyes with the brown pencil and gently fill in the brows. Eye shadow can be applied so that the darker shade is on the outside corner. Almond shaped eyes look lovely with a light touch of eye makeup. This soft look is perfect for daytime.

Evening eyes can be very dramatic. Choose Asian eye makeup in dark metallic jewel colors for a striking look. A nice, smoky eye is created when the dark shadows and dark liner are blended well.
When choosing a heavy hand on the evening eye makeup, you can apply a nude shade of lipstick. Again, choose a shade with a yellow undertone, rather than pink. Enhance your natural beauty instead of sharply contrasting tones.
Asian makeup also looks fantastic when the face and lips are highlighted instead of the eyes. Leave the eyes completely untouched, or simply curl the lashes and use a brown eye pencil to line. Then apply a red lipstick with yellow undertones to make an evening look pop. Lining the lips first with a lip pencil keeps the color consistent. It is also recommended to fill in the entire lip with the lip pencil before applying lipstick and then covering with gloss.
Do not be afraid of color. Dramatic Asian makeup goes perfectly with the dramatic features of an Asian face. Typically, flawless skin and high cheekbones can handle even electric blue and neon colors. These are the colors of choice for anime or Harajuku looks.
On the other hand, soft and sheer gold shadows, nude lipstick, bronzer and lip gloss combine to create a gorgeous Asian makeup line up.
